We are closely monitoring Tropical Storm Debby, the fourth named storm of the Atlantic hurricane season. This storm is expected to bring heavy rainfall and coastal flooding to much of Florida's Gulf Coast, potentially beginning this weekend.
Our communities along Florida's west coast and panhandle are taking all necessary precautions and have established processes and procedures in place to manage the storm's impact.
Forecasters report that the system has strengthened into a tropical storm over the southeastern Gulf of Mexico, prompting hurricane warnings for specific areas of along the Gulf Coast.
