Assisted Living Facility (ALF) Minimum Core Training Curriculum Summary
The ALF Minimum Core Training Curriculum is designed to ensure that personnel are well-prepared for the unique challenges of working in an assisted living facility. This comprehensive program covers a wide range of essential topics to equip trainees with the necessary skills and knowledge.
Core Training Modules:
- Orientation/Integration/Company Familiarization
Week 1 - Week 2 - Introduction to Activities in Senior Living
Week 3 - Introduction to Dining Services in Senior Living
Week 4 - Introduction to Clinical Resident Services in Senior Living
Week 5 – 8 - Introduction to Sales in Senior Living
Week 9 - Introduction to Administration, Budgeting & Accounting in Senior Living
Week 10 - Introduction to Human Resources
Week 11 - State Required Assisted Living Certification Class (Date may vary based on availability)
Week 12 - Introduction to Communications
Week 13 - State Training Review & Servant Leadership Training
Week 14 - Professional Enhancement Objectives
