We’re Rolling Again in Alabama

With a golden shovel in hand, SRI Management’s CEO Don Bishop symbolically broke ground on the company’s second senior living community in Alabama. He wasn’t alone, though, Sage Development Group along with the Eastern Shore Chamber of Commerce were also there to mark the occasion.

Situated on 20 acres of well-accessed land between the Spanish Fort, Fairhope, and Mobile Bay regions in an ideal suburban community, Seagrass Village of Daphne will meet measurable market demand for additional senior living options in the region.

“We are more than excited to have another opportunity to grow in Alabama,” Bishop said. “Our Seagrass Village community will be a great fit for the area.”

With a projected opening in mid-2023, this amenity-rich, resort-style environment will offer 45 well-appointed Independent Living apartments plus 45 independent living cottages and 45 assisted living options.

Seagrass Village of Daphne will have amenities like a wellness center, bistro and pub, private dining room, outdoor dining, and a spacious salon and spa along with our signature programming:

  • Artful Dining, a research-backed culinary concept designed to keep seniors engaged in the social and health benefits of proper nutrition
  • Zestful Activities, providing an abundance of activities to keep residents physically and socially active;
  • Heartful Care, creating comfort and security for residents in their new home

But we’re bringing more than senior living.

“As we continue to grow in Alabama, we see this community filling a need in this market area,” Executive Vice President Todd Filippone said. “We’re excited to not only bring senior living care to the Daphne area but local jobs, too.”

Once opened, Seagrass Village of Daphne will offer local residents approximately 50 full-time jobs, infusing more than $1.5 million in annual salary and wages into the region.
