We’re Growing in South Carolina
About 30 minutes south of Myrtle Beach, our newest South Carolina senior living community is taking shape.
Magnolia Bridge at Murrells Inlet’s future home became official today during a groundbreaking ceremony in the Palmetto State that saw rain sprinkles and overcast skies. But the weather wasn’t enough to keep local dignitaries and future residents indoors.
“We are so thankful to be able to be in Murrells Inlet,” SRI Management CEO Don Bishop said. “Magnolia Bridge is going to be a place where residents will have the best experiences, and I’m proud that SRI Management is going to be a part of this project.”
Magnolia Bridge will be a 170-unit community resting on 14 acres of well-accessed land between Myrtle Beach and Georgetown in the beloved Murrells Inlet destination. Our new community will meet measurable market demand for additional senior living options in the region. With the projected opening in Summer 2022, the amenity-rich, resort-style environment will offer 89 well-appointed Independent Living apartments plus 18 independent living villas, 44 assisted living options, and 19 memory care spaces.
Once opened, Magnolia Bridge at Murrells Inlet will offer local residents approximately 75 full-time jobs, infusing more than $2 million in annual salary and wages into the region.
“Magnolia Bridge is an amenity-rich, resort-style environment,” Executive Vice President for SRI Management Todd Filippone said. “Come next summer, this community will be the senior housing community in the area. I’m excited and can’t wait to see it come to life.”
