As a Clinical Revenue Specialist for SRI Management, I develop and implement training and education of company and state policies to our Community Directors of Nursing. I also personally aim to educate and teach the staff that is caring for our residents.
I started with SRI Management in 2011 as a floor nurse in one of our communities. I grew to the Assistant Director of Resident Services and then the Director of Resident Services for that community and held my position there for 7 years. In 2018 I joined the SRI Management’s corporate team with a desire to assist other Directors of Resident Services in being compliant with regulations and implement ways to maintain tasks and responsibilities in a manageable way.
When I started nursing school in 2007 I was adamant I wanted to work with children and babies. About halfway through my nursing program, I discovered a love for the senior population. It caused me to change directions and when I graduated in 2009 with my LPN license I went straight into working in long-term care communities. I’ve never looked back. My goals with SRI Management are to continue to expand our training programs to provide the best possible care to our residents while maintaining exceptional standards both in care and compliance with regulations.
